Meaning of Venus
Why I chose the name Venus Clubs…
In its simplist form – because it felt right. I run my business and my life strongly by my intuition and the Venus Clubs just felt right to me.
In a slightly longer explanation …
VANESSA & VENUS
My first name, Vanessa, is closely related to the word Venus and when I started my first business I called my company name The Venus Group. I am also a librian and my planet is Venus. Venus is associated with women. I love being a woman. I love the unique qualities that come naturally to me, as a woman.
CREATING A LIFE YOU LOVE
As Venus is the goddess of Love I brought this into the business sense. I’m committed to supporting women as they build businesses around what they love, around their passions. Life is too short to spend your life working in a job or a business that you are not enjoying. Life’s about creating your days doing what you love. As you discover what your passionate about you uncover what your talents and top skills are.
FOLLOWING YOUR PASSIONS
In my experience gaining clarity around our passions gives us clarity around our top skills. We all have natural abilities that we excel at. You have been given these talents and passions to use in the world. Using them to contribute to the growth of your clients, your community, your world. With coaching, support and resources it is possible for every woman to create a stunningly successful business based around her passions.
FEMININE QUALITIES
I am enthusiastic about and celebrate the feminine qualities, especially when used in business.
I absolutely believe life is about celebrating our uniqueness, our talents, our gifts. As women we are unique, creative and talented. For many years I didn’t believe or acknowledge this. I see women every day who do not realise how extraordinary they are. I always felt a strong inner pull to make a difference, to contribute my uniqueness to the world. I just didn’t know what made me unique, what I was passionate about or what my talent was.
LIVING LIFE ON PURPOSE
This inner drive to discover my purpose, to uncover why I was here has led me on my journey into business. Through business I have discovered what my purpose is.
“To inspire and encourage women to believe in themselves, to believe in their dreams and to support them as they grow stunningly successful businesses from their passions.”
WOMEN CONTRIBUTING THEIR UNIQUENESS
The Venus Clubs, to me, are the platform for women to shine, to contribute their greatness. They are about women following their passions, living life on purpose and transforming themselves and their world through feminine enterprise.
My wish for you - that you believe you are unique and extraordinary and that you realised your talents are what the world needs. By building a business around your passions you are contributing to the world and making a real difference in the lives of others. That you feel supported and encouraged to grow yourself and your business. And have an absolute blast while you’re at it.
Have a fabulous journey,
Vanessa
- Women are from Venus…
John Gray Ph.D., author and speaker wrote a bestselling book ‘Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus’ and has now made this phrase famous. He has written many books about the differences between how men and women communicate. Through understanding, respecting and accepting these differences he believes we can improve our relationships.
Women are unique. I believe now is the time to celebrate our uniqueness in business and utilise the feminine qualities of intuition, connection, creativity to build successful businesses.
