Terms and Conditions of Venus Network Membership

In joining the Venus Network you are agreeing to abide by the following rules. Failure to do so may result in your membership being cancelled without your subscription being refunded.

Attendance is critical to the group. A member is permitted two absences during each six month term. More than this may terminate membership and open their category. A leave of absence can be requested if certain circumstances make it impossible for a member to operate their business as usual.

Referrals are critical to every member’s success. Members are encouraged to bring at least one qualified referrals to every meeting.

Members are encouraged to bring guests to each meeting, notifying their group facilitator before they invite them. Guests cannot attend more than 2 meetings at any group.

Members can occupy and promote only one category/profession in the defined category list with each membership. If a member’s business has functions of other categories for which they do not belong, they must not promote those functions during meeting times or RAVE’s. Members who wish to change their professional category must complete and sign a new membership application. Submit it for approval.

Members are prohibited from attempting to recruit other members and/or guests for the purpose of growing their business during their meeting.

Members must recognize that all Venus Network members’ contact information is to be used strictly for generating referrals and not for soliciting members without their prior approval.

Membership can be involuntarily terminated by the Venus Network HQ for:
1.    Any and all illegal conduct and/or felony conviction(s).
2.    Any and all conduct that might tarnish the reputation of the network and its members
3.    Any and all wilful refusal or failure to abide by Venus Network Terms and Conditions
It is expected that all Venus Network members comply with New Zealand laws and have no criminal convictions in the last 5 Years. Failure to disclose this information to Venus Network HQ prior to joining is likely to jeopardize membership.

All membership fees are non refundable, except where request for refund has been made within 7 days of joining date. 80% of membership will be refunded if written notification given within this time. Membership can voluntarily be terminated by submitting a written resignation to Venus HQ.

Venus Network does not endorse the capabilities or professional expertise of any of its members.  Venus Network does not take any responsibility for disputes between members and does not accept any liability to any party for any dispute a member may have with another member.
