Paige West, Neuro Touch – Te Awamutu

What inspired you to start your business?

I have always had a strong passion for helping others and constantly putting them before myself. But what really got me started was my father who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2015, in which he was receiving treatment in NIS. And so i began my study and started my own business.

Tell us about your business?

Neuro Touch was built on the Neurological Integration Systems (NIS), which is working the brain and the communication circuits throughout the body. What happens is we experience neurological, pathological, psychological and emotional stresses that can cause disconnections in these circuits. When this occurs we will being to have symptoms and complaints that are not normal within the body and brain and mind. I work through a series of screen tests to check what circuits are and aren’t working, if they aren’t working I reintegrate these back through the brain to eliminate the symptoms and complaints. I Will reconnect with specific areas such as organs like the stomach and explain why this disconnection has occurred. Through working with this system for nearly a year I decided to branch out and look more into the emotional side of people’s lives. I began working with the Emotion Code, which is releasing negative trapped emotions. This is because 50% of complaints and symptoms can be caused by negative energies that we have trapped subconscious from past events and relationships. These emotions can mean it is easier for us to feel negative and so releases this gives are the best environment in our minds to build a positive mindset.

What do you love about running your business?

I get to see the positive changes in people all day every day. I get to work with both the very young and very old. There is no limitations to my treatments and for this I am forever grateful to be able to do what I am doing.

What have been some of your biggest challenges?

Being able to explain to people exactly what it is that I do. NIS is completely science-based but it is hard to find people who want to understand exactly what it is and exactly how it works. I have learnt that if people want to know, they will listen and i cannot share what people are not interested it. Although I try my best too.

Do you have a favourite quote?

Tomorrow is a new day to start again

Who inspires you, and why?

My father for his courage to get up every morning and continue on with a life that he does not love. My mother for her strength and compassion that she holds every day.

What growth have you experienced being in Venus?

I have been able to build more structure to my business and have gained the courage to chase some ideas that I had been sitting on.

Women are redefining success and growing businesses on their terms: What does success look like to you?

Success looks like the amount of people I am helping and who are satisfied with my treatments. I do not work in terms of monetary value.

What’s your favourite pastime when you are not working?

I love to spend time with my family, and friends, the outdoors and enjoy reading a book whether personal or educational.
